Sometimes, despite our best efforts, technological hiccups occur. If you notice that changes to your design haven't been saved, don't panic.

Here's what you can do:

Check Your Internet Connection

A stable internet connection is crucial for saving your designs. Ensure you're connected to the internet and that the connection is stable.

Look for the Save Status

Navigate to the top menu and observe the cloud icon and accompanying save status message. If it indicates Unsaved changes, you may need to manually save your design by going to the File tab and selecting Save.

Refresh Your Browser

Sometimes, a simple refresh can resolve the issue. Make sure to check the save status before doing so to avoid losing any changes.

Clear Your Browser’s Cache

The stored cache can sometimes interfere with the saving process. Clearing your browser's cache can often help in resolving save-related issues. Make sure to back up any unsaved designs before doing this.

Try a Different Browser or Device

Different browsers can sometimes yield different results. If one browser isn't working, try accessing Ellty from another one. Alternatively, you can also try a different device.

Create a New Design File and Copy Your Unsaved Design

If you still have your design open and you notice that changes are not auto-saving, you can try the following workaround:

  1. Open a New Tab
On your browser, open a new tab and go to Ellty.

  2. Create a New File
Start a new design with the same dimensions or type as your unsaved design in this new tab.

  3. Copy Your Design
Go back to the original design tab, select all elements on the page (Windows: Ctrl + A; Mac: Command (⌘) + A), and copy them (Windows: Ctrl + C; Mac: Command (⌘) + C).

  4. Paste into the New File
Switch back to the new tab with the fresh design file and paste the copied elements (Windows: Ctrl + V; Mac: Command (⌘) + V).

  5. Check the Save Status
As you make changes to this new file, ensure that the save status at the top indicates that changes are being saved.

Remember, technology can be unpredictable, but there's almost always a solution. By following these steps, you can ensure your designs remain safe and sound in Ellty.
