Occasionally, users might face challenges with the Ellty editor becoming unresponsive or not saving changes. This could be due to a web socket connection error or other technical hiccups.

Here's how to troubleshoot and address the issue:

Check Your Internet Connection

Ensure you have a stable and reliable internet connection. An unstable connection can affect the editor's performance and its ability to save. Try reloading the Ellty page or accessing other websites to verify your connection.

Browser-Related Issues

Browsers might sometimes be the culprit behind such errors:

  1. Clear your browser's cache and cookies. This often resolves many browser-specific issues.

  2. Update your browser to its latest version or switch to a different browser to check if the issue persists.

  3. Try accessing Ellty in an incognito/private browsing window.


Save Your Work Manually

If the editor is unresponsive but you can still access your design, try to manually save your work by going to the File tab in the upper menu and selecting Save.

Restart the Editor

Close the Ellty editor tab and reopen it. Go to your design and see if it becomes responsive again.

Firewall or Antivirus Interference

Ensure that your firewall or antivirus software isn't blocking Ellty's web socket connections. You might need to whitelist Ellty in your software settings.

Disable Browser Extensions

Certain browser extensions, especially ad blockers or privacy tools, can interfere with the functionality of web-based applications. Try disabling extensions one by one and check if the Ellty editor starts functioning correctly after each one is turned off.

Device Restart
